I am quite excited with how these turned out! This is the first scrappy pair of longies I've ever knit. I wish they were staying for my dd! LOL However, they are on their way to a very cute little girl!

This was a great project as I learned what method of joining yarn I most prefer when there are so many color transitions!

Faux Crankypants Longies

Matching faux crankies for a friend of mine for her 5 yr old and 2 yr old daughters. I asked Amy of Crankypants about knitting these and she said it is fine to knit them for my children or friends as gifts as long as I'm not knitting them to sell them. These were knit using Bernat Acrylic yarn because my friend does not want to handwash wool for a 2 yr old and 5 yr old. These were some large longies! The 5 yr old pair had a 17" inseam and the 2 yr old pair had a 12 3/4" inseam! The yarn looks black on my monitor but it is really a nice deep chocolate brown, sage green, pink and cream.
